We Offer Nationwide Medical Spa Insurance Programs

Medical spa insurance - aesthetic insurance and cosmetic insurance for professionals - demands a market-paced insurance agency. AAG Insurance has been in the vanguard, providing coverage for an ever-expanding portfolio of cosmetic and wellness services. We bring our risk management background to our partnership with your medical spa, clinic, or surgery center, analyzing each and every one of your procedures and services to make sure your coverage is appropriate and complete. That's an absolute necessity, given current limitations on medical malpractice policies.

Count on us as a knowledge base of state-specific policy and regulation, no matter where you are located. Our program recognizes and responds to the higher standards for licensed physicians and surgeons, even those contracting as a clinic's medical director, a role often not covered by medical malpractice insurance. In addition, our "Direct Patient Care" covers a licensed physician or surgeon who performs procedures in a clinic.

AAG's Medical Spa Insurance, Aesthetic Insurance, Surgery Center Insurance, and Cosmetic Insurance programs are site, procedure, and staff-specific. But our omnibus protection needs to provide peace of mind to owners, too. That's where our status as an independent insurance agency and brokerage makes a major difference. We are your advocate for the best possible price, as well as the best possible insurance.

Transcript of Med Spa Insurance Video Above

Hi, thank you for visiting our website.  My name is Jason kunz, and I have been working with the cosmetic industry for over 10 years.  I have been able to put together an insurance program specifically designed for medical spas and surgery centers.  In addition to my program I also have access to all the available insurance companies who specialize in the cosmetic industry.  Because of these relationships I have with the insurance companies, I am able to tailor the insurance coverages specifically to your medical spa needs, regardless of what state you are located in.  With the companies I have access to; I am able to properly shop you around to provide you with the most complete coverages at the best prices available.  A lot of times I get asked a very simple question which is, “Jason, what insurance coverage does a medical spa need?”  It’s a great question, and even though there are a number of different exposures for medical spas, I want to make sure that the customers that I am working with at least have the basic three coverages in place.  The first one is professional liability insurance coverage…that provides coverages for the procedures and treatments that your medical spa is offering to the general public.  The second is a package insurance policy…that covers the office contents including equipments, desks, chairs, furniture (things of that nature), and general liability.  The last is workers compensation coverage.  It provides coverage for the owner and employees in case they happen to be injured while on the job.  A number of customers that I work with ask me questions specifically regarding medical directors.  In my experience, Medical Directors typically fall into 1 of 2 categories.  Either your medical director is strictly going to be administrative duties only.  They may review charts, come up with consent forms (things of that nature), but they do not provide any direct care to the patients.  The second category encompasses the first one which is the administrative duties, in addition, also provides direct patient care.  (meaning that your medical director is probably performing some of the medical procedures on the patients).  My programs are typically in the name of the corporation entity that actually owns the medical spa.  That way they can provide coverage for all the medical spa owners, and the employees, plus the medical director, if they happen to fall within the administrative duties only or also provide direct patient care.  I also get asked a lot of questions regarding procedures.  I would love to spend all day with talking about different procedures but in the big picture, as long as your medical spa is offering cosmetic procedures to the general public, they can all be covered, including some of the more aggressive ones including tummy tucks, breast augmentations and liposuctions.  Again, my programs are tailored specifically to your medical spa needs.  Another great questions I also get asked is, “are my programs competitive?”  As I said a little bit earlier, because I have access to all the insurance companies nationwide, I am able to tailor the insurance coverages specific to your needs, but also being able to get you a shopped around rate, I assure you that I will provide you with great premiums.  A lot of the times when I am looking at insurance coverages for either new medical spas or existing medical spas, …when I do a coverage review there are usually (unfortunately) some situations where current procedures and coverages are simply not being covered by your existing policies.  A lot of the time, I am able to identify the gaps in your current insurance programs, and not only provide you with quote, but to cover all of your procedures and services that your medical spas are offering to the general public, but most of the time I am able to present you with those insurance quotes at a better premium than you are currently paying.  Thank you for visiting our website.  Call me today at 800-346-2519.  I look forward to working with you.
